On the road again… 🚍

This April I’ve traveled all over to attend the coolest Bitcoin events and conferences, listening and learning from event organizers from across the world! Whether it’s at Bitcoin Park’s Grassroots, BitBlockBoom, Próspera’s Bitchill or Bitcoin Vegas, I’ve met many of you face to face, and had the opportunity to show you in person what the Satlantis team has been cooking in the past few weeks!
Without further ado, here are the latest features we’ve shipped!
New this month: Multi-ticketing + Promos
As I anticipated last month, multi-ticketing is now live!
That means you can now buy multiple tickets for any event and easily transfer them to family members, friends or your team. They don’t even need to create a Satlantis account!
Our tickets are now bearer assets: they are unique and the account holding them is the owner – don’t worry, transferring a ticket means the purchaser no longer has it!
Plus, you can add your ticket(s) to your device’s wallet, and check-in becomes a breeze 😌
Next feature is a big one. You’ve been asking for it… and we’ve delivered!
Promos are here!!
Until now, if you wanted to offer discounts you had to create another whole new ticket type, adding extra management – I know… it was a pain!
With this update each ticket type can now have its own promo! Give it a name, the percentage you want to discount and what’s so powerful is that you can set a limit based on time (how long you want the promo to run for) or quantity (what amount of discounted tickets can be bought).
You don’t even have to keep track of promo codes!
Think of this as our v1.0 of promos. We think it’s the most intuitive and straightforward approach, so go ahead and try it! But yes: we will be adding promo codes too eventually 😉
Bonus: Satlantis is Live on Zapstore!
Surprise!! This one has been in the works for a while: Satlantis is now live on Nostr’s own Zapstore!!
Hate going through the legacy app stores? Well, you can now download your favorite events app – Satlantis 😉– straight from Zapstore (available on Android).
If you’re not familiar, Zapstore was built by our friend franzap to circumvent proprietary stores like the Play Store. It’s a more sovereign way to access cool apps, as well as a censorship-free alternative for devs.
Oh and remember! Our friends at Primal have now made it suuuper convenient to log on Satlantis without sharing your private key with us. And you know what? If you’re on Android and have Amber installed, you also get the option of logging in with Amber 😉
