Your Bitcoin Community deserves a Home 🏠

Hi there!

Last month we introduced Communities on Satlantis.

This month, I want to show you what you can actually do with it, because creating a community page is only the beginning.

Your community has a name, a story, people, events, photos, announcements and conversations. Until now, much of that information has lived across Telegram, WhatsApp, X, Nostr, Discord, Meetup, Eventbrite and a dozen other places.

Satlantis brings it ALL together.

Your community page becomes the place where people can discover your community, see what's happening, join, and stay up to date.

And we're already seeing the first communities getting started. 🚀

New Communities on Satlantis

We're excited to see Bitcoin communities from different corners of the world setting up their homes on Satlantis: Plovdiv21 Bitcoin Community, Bury St Edmunds Bitcoin, FREE Madeira, Fort Bitcoin, East Texas Bitcoin Community, or Bitcoin Night are just some of the new communities joining us!

What should you do with your Community?

If you've already created your community on Satlantis, here are 3 simple steps that will help you get more out of it:

1. Complete your profile

Your community page is your public home page for others to discover you.

Add your logo, description, images, social media links and the information people need to understand who you are and how to get involved.

Look what I did with my Barcelona community (you might need to speak Spanish to understand the descriptions, but I’m sure you’ll get the idea):

2. Add your events

This is where your community comes alive.

Your next meetup, conference, BitcoinWalk, workshop, BitDevs, Pizza Day or Bitcoin course should be on your Satlantis Community.

Don’t try to compete with Bitcoin Paraguay though. They currently hold the record for the most events hosted on Satlantis so far 🤯:

3. Turn attendees into community members

You probably already have a list of people who are part of your community: people who have attended your past events, joined your Telegram group, subscribed to your newsletter, or simply want to stay in touch.

Bring them into your Satlantis Community using the “Invite/Import” button to add people in three different ways:

• Email: invite people individually by email
• Nostr DM: invite people individually via Nostr
• CSV: import a larger list and send invitations by email and/or Nostr in bulk

Once invited, people can subscribe to your community and become Members, while you can keep track of everyone you’ve invited as Prospects and see who has actually joined.

BONUS: Give each member the content they’re looking for

Not every member of your community is looking for the same thing.

With the Newsletter feature, you can send different content to different membership tiers: for example, community updates to your free members and more in-depth or exclusive content to your paid members.

You can use your newsletters for:

📝 Monthly community recaps
📚 Educational content
🎤 Event highlights
👋 Community updates
🔒 Exclusive content for paid members
🚀 New projects and announcements

For example, you could send your free members your monthly community update and upcoming events, while your paid members receive additional research, deeper insights, exclusive content or other member-only benefits.

The idea is simple: give people a reason to stay subscribed and a reason to upgrade.
