All about PROMOS!

May has flown by and summer is just around the corner. And that means more events, new connections and great vibes ahead!! 🤩

This month I want to dive deeper into our new promos and coupons system. Been busy organizing events and building up your community? Maybe now is the time to reward your group’s loyalty with some exclusive discounts!

Our new features make this so easy. We believe we’ve nailed the user experience and I can’t wait to hear your feedback.

New this month: Promos & Coupons

In my last update I introduced our promos system. Here’s what you need to know if you missed it!

Promos are ticket-specific. For each ticket type you can set a discount in percent and either an end date for the promo or a cap on discounted tickets available – or both simultaneously!

The obvious use case, of course, is the Early Bird discount for a conference. But why not turn that on its head and discount the very last few tickets remaining to make sure the venue is packed?

Or how about special discounts on Whitepaper Day, Genesis Block Day or Bitcoin Pizza Day? Or just because it’s your birthday! 😂

The point is to give you total freedom in a way that’s very intuitive and easy to execute. And doesn’t it just look gorgeous? 🤩

This month we’re also introducing coupons!

Much like with promos, you can set the discount percentage, end date and cap the number of discounted tickets – coupons, however, can be applied to all or only some ticket types. This means that you can be as general or granular as you want in how you manage your discounts.

Since you can create as many codes as you want and apply them to selected ticket types, coupons allow you to target specific audiences and easily track where your sales are coming from.

It’s a great little marketing tool that will give you clarity on which marketing relationships actually deliver for you 😉

Finally, and thanks to a touch of magic from the dev team, we’ve implemented embedded discounts into the event url 🧙 So if you want a super targeted way of rewarding followers, just share a magic link with them – their discount will be applied automatically!
